PS2′s Final Fantasy XII Leaked on BitTorrent

Not scheduled to be officially released until later this month, Final Fantasy XII has already made its debut on BitTorrent tracker sites

According to 1UP.com, an early, and apparently legit, copy of the widely popular RPG mades its way onto several popular BitTorrent tracker sites yesterday and Square Enix, publishers of the game, are none too thrilled.

Sqaure Enix has begun to try and assert “legal control” over its game and has been contacting BitTorrent tracker sites to get the trackers removed.

Considering that this could prove to be a huge blow to recouping all the development and production costs of the game, monitoring and then suing whomever downloads it may very well be a plan on their radar.

i agree if people start getting sued theres no way im paying for it. having already put 14 hours into this game i have every intention of buying. hell was even considering the collectors edition because i really like this game and thought it was well done

something leaked on BitTorrent no WAY!

if they sue anyone im not buying it for sure. i was going to pick it up when it came out but now im not so sure.

most people who dl ps2 games have modded systems meaning most dont pay for their games anyways
