Morpheus Preview Edition Compromising Your Privacy?

Though we have been told many times by the CEO of Streamcast Inc. that his program will always respect our privacy and remain adware “spyware” free, recent news suggests otherwise. The Morpheus Preview Edition does in fact to have a new form of adware accompany it, according to this Article. The adware installed called Wurld Media BHO, is of a new nature that most of us are not familiar with. When installed by Morpheus, the Wurld Media BHO causes addresses including radioshack.com, ebay.com, amazon.com, and toysrus.com, among others, to be intercepted and redirected to the shopping sites through affiliate marketing systems in you Internet Explorer browser. The CEO of Streamcast has been unavailable for comment. This leaves many questions unanswered. Is this a last minute plot to help Morpheus in its legal battles and financial troubles? Check back with Zeropaid as we continue to cover this issue.

Zeropaid note- Though strong evidence suggest the spyware in Morpheus, it has yet to be fully confirmed. Until we hear from the CEO of Streamcast with his side of the story, we cannot jump to any conclusions. Credit goes to Slyck for first coverage of this story.
