The Tom Brokaw/MSNBC hosted Silicon Summit III was your usual big names and heavy opinions, but there was also a sense this year that the panel CEOs need to start listening to customers and not run to the government for solutions to their woes. Or was that all really just a PR stunt to make them look friendly? Either way, plenty of time was spent discussing music downloading, and related items like software piracy.
