Here is the latest News from Morpheus:
1) Streamcast has launched their new web site at MusicCity.com. It’s aimed at small artists without BMI/ASCAP contracts to encourage them to distribute music using their client.
2) Streamcast Morpheus has announced on their IRC servers that they will be shutting down the chat service on April 1, 2002 when they launch the Morpheus Version 2.0 software. The new software will have the chat embedded. Streamcast is directing users to use the p2pchat.org site to continue file sharing discussions.
3) Did anyone else notice the message from Morpheus CEO and founder Steve Griffen asking users to discuss software in their ‘discussion’ section? I think someone forgot to tell him that the forum was pulled months ago.
