On Pirate Bay’s blog page, those rowdy swashbucklers come to the aid of AFCI by announcing their support for AFCI’s efforts again’s Ladonia.

The greatest quote is from Pirate Bay Pirate Chairman of the Joint chiefs of staff Brokep, who says “Ladonia, you stand no chance! Our weapons of mass distribution is pointed at your borders and we are ready to plug in the cable! Surrender now and let the Kopimist regime enter!”

The Pirate Bay, in announcing its support for ACFI (Armed Coalition Forces of the Internets) against Ladonia, a tiny country situated at the edge of the Scandinavian Peninsula bounded between the south of Sweden and Denmark, makes a foray into AFCI’s dispute with the government of Ladonia.

AFCI’s site, titled “Implode Ladonia,” makes a list of demands that it hopes the Ladonian Government will heed.

AFCI’s Communique Against Ladonia

The Armed Coalition Forces of the Internets write the following in Implode Ladonia:

This is a message from the armed coalition forces of the Internets:

This charade has gone on too long — the Ladonian government must understand the need of Internets in their own country. The citizens of Ladonia need their future!

We see no future in copyright, only boring music and brain drain. Copyright is bad for your health! Ladonia is a rogue state! They don’t share the same values as we do. They are not Kopimist. This evil regime is withholding Internets from the good citizens and without internets the Kopimi cannot enter.

We demand:

  • 1. No copyright laws!
  • 2. Internets connectivity from every stone!
  • 3. Remove your weapons of mass destruction aimed at the internets borders!
  • Surrender to our demands or we will take your castle by force!

WE GIVE YOU A FEW DAYS TO SURRENDER TO OUR DEMANDS, OR ELSE NECESSARY MEASURES WILL BE TAKEN. NEGOTIATIONS WILL BE HELD AT CAMP IRC (EFNET #IMPLODELADONIA)

Pirate Bay’s communique announces it’s support for ACFI.
In response to AFCI’s plight, the swashbucklers at Pirate Bay pledge the weight of their “weapons of mass distribution” arsenal to it’s defense.

    They write:

TPB announces it support for ACFI against Ladonia

We will not sit down and let this go on anymore!

The people of Ladonia need our help – we at TPB do NOT agree to what is going on in the rouge nation of Ladonia!

Today we hereby announce our support for ACFI, the group behind http://implodeladonia.net.

ACFI has been working under cover for quite some time to get information on Ladonia and its government.

We will support any action taken by ACFI against Ladonia in this matter!” says Pirate Bay Chairman of the Joint chiefs of staff Brokep.

Ladonia, you stand no chance! Our weapons of mass distribution is pointed at your borders and we are ready to plug in the cable! Surrender now and let the Kopimist regime enter!

    Future for Ladonia?

What the outcome will be is anybody’s guess, but hopefully the citizens can get universal internet connectivity. As far as the demand for no copyright laws is concerned, who knows. Not sure I agree with that one. After all, profit and loss are the ultimate incentives when it comes to content creation and distribution.
