AOL Tim Warner has stepped up to the plate in the copy-protection game. They announced today that they will be hiring a manager to tackle standardization of MP3 file, player and ripper formats, but what do they really think they can do at this point? Whatever format they develop will not be used by the likes of people who visit Zeropaid.com. We already have the software we need. What’s to stop us from continuing to use what we already use and know works just fine?
