What About the Music Retailer?

Amid this debate over MP3s, Napster’s, copy-protection and “illegal file downloading” or piracy, we may have forgotten that there is a group of legit people who are being hurt by the debate itself: music retailers, especially offline retailers. You see, it’s the record companies and their cartel-like distributors that force retailers to charge such high prices on CDs. But I’ll let you read the story and judge for yourself.
