Well the long awaited Toadnode was released. It uses the Gnutella Protocol.

Two years ago we introduced the first Gnutella clone. It was pretty good, and millions of people downloaded it, from all over the world. Then we decided to go dark for a year, and really think about the best way to make sharing files easier. We made the application available to certain users, and we showed it to many different audiences privately: from individuals to businesses, as well as government organizations and even the military. We listened carefully, and now we’re back with Toadnode 3.0.
It’s a more powerful version, designed to work for anyone who wants to search for and share files, whether in a business setting, working from home or on the road. Now you can share files with colleagues and friends around the world, just like you did with your first version of Toadnode, except now it’s faster and easier!
Rather than bombarding Toadnode users with advertising or invading their privacy by collecting usage data to sell, we simply charge $5.00.
