The Truth About the MusicCity Claims

The earlier story about KaZaA being the problem behind Morpheus confused me, it made no sense; if it was an attack by KaZaA, then MusicCity could simply create a patch to get around this. They have however been unable to, and have resorted to using the inferior Gnutella network forever. I decided to make it my mission to find out if this was true. The following is not sugarcoated at all, and is the most accurate account of what happened that I can provide.

I visited the MusicCity IRC channel, where the ops were periodically spreading around the link to the story on Zeropaid.com blaming KaZaA. So I asked them if there was any proof of this, to which they just provided the same link again. I pointed out that there was no evidence to that story and it was all simply conjecture, and they referred me to the #help channel.

I didn’t have much joy in this room either. I asked the same question again, and the op in there told me not to mention any other file sharing programs. When I said I was referred in there to ask the question, he booted me from the room.
I joined the original room again and accounted what just happened, to which the same op I spoke to the first time said that I shouldn’t have been talking about KaZaA (makes no sense seeing as he asked me to ask does it?). I asked my question again.
“Please, all I’m asking for is some evidence that KaZaA sabotaged the network to get rid of Morpheus. Is that too much to ask?”
After I said this, about 5 other people started asking questions too, not being rude, but just in the same way I did. The ops then sent out a message in big letters saying that any more talk about the subject would get people banned from the network (despite the fact they brought the subject up!).
I realized I’d only get one more chance to speak before getting banned, so I made it count! As it was a long message I can’t remember word for word what I said, but I’ll reiterate that I remained polite.

“So you’re trying to silence us are you
