Funny u should say that this broad almost crashed into me while I was riding my bike by the beach a few minutes ago…..She was gabbing on her cell phone and not paying attention at all. What’s even more retarded is that u know her conversation was about something stupid or at least soemthing not so important that couldnt wait a few minutes until she stopped the car.

Not a ban on Mp3′s but for Mp3 players that have earpieces.. It should be illegal to have an earpiece in your ear that is hooked up to the radio Radio your aware of certain sounds then you could with a ipod plugged into your head.

Nothing so strange. In Australia using mobile phones without a handsfree is completely illegal for all drivers and in most cases you can get pulled over and fined if you are distracted with other items (such as a PDA or IPod) just for dangerous driving.

I remember hearing talk that even handsfree should be banned because they are just as dangerous but nothing ever came of it.

lol my behavior on canadian roads (which I use quite frequently) is horrible

i speed at 100MPH+ on the highway i dont buckle up i drive and eat/drink/smoke at the same time…

i swear if i get in a car accident i will die in canada. mostly cause ive pretty much never seen a cop on the highway in quebec and i’ve gotten my picture taken over 50 times at least by speed cameras but of course having american plates and that spray-on stuff that makes them too shiny and saturated to read on camera… ive never gotten a ticket.

Well first to mcovey you sound like you’re proud of this behavior. Just think about that for a minute. No more needs to be said on that issue. As for the electronics while driving issue whatever law they pass should apply to ALL people not just the young. That’s ageism and it’s flat out wrong! What if they said that the law only applied to women or to blacks? No one would stand for that. Why stand for this? I remember when I was a kid if any of us ever got into an accident the adults would always say that if was because the “radio was too loud.” That may have been the case sometimes but other factors need to be taken into account. Now today the kids are not the only offenders in this. What about business people who simply can’t wait to get to their offices to conduct their all-important transactions? I know a guy who trades stocks on the internet while he’s driving! The law–whatever they come up with–should apply to all.
