The Bush administration has been repeatedly accused of various conspiracies regarding 9/11 and many others. It is my belief they are a bunch of freakin morons. Everything they do seems to fit the profile of a leader with 47 chromosomes. Their failure to shut down TPB for more then 2 days (when they really tried) indicates a complete lack structure required for any sort of conspiracy.

There’s something special about the pirate bay shutdown that you didnt see with any other site. It created alot of controversy and protests. Every previous site that was shutdown people just migrated to the next best thing not even raising a stink. But this time the pirate bay has made people want to create change and really fight the government and corporations. Now you have controversy over it being pushed by the united states and you now have a real battle bringing in the average joe. This may be the push needed to get pro filesharing governments elected.

Im glad it happened. I dont like pirate bay but maybe when they get the police report that states NONE Of the files was hosted on the servers. Then they can continue to lead a destructive life without trying to shut a site down again.

This is indicative of how the Bush administration works. Laws and constitutions of ANY country not just the United States’ mean nothing to them. We saw this with the push to war the electronic spying and the outing of one of our own intelligence agents. Rules? Laws? They apply to others not our great leaders. They are literally just one step away from a dictatorship. I say “they” because I believe that Bush is just a figurehead. He’s not really in charge. He couldn’t be and be as stupid as he appears (or maybe it’s just an act? If so he deserves an Oscar!) Someone or ones (maybe Chaney and his corporate buddies) are REALLY in charge. We have a chance in November to stop these power-hungry pigs. Just watch those voiting machines closely. They’re manufactured by one of the chosen. File sharing will be only one casualty in all of this. Our biggest loss might just be the internet itself.

The internet is just one step in the evolution of The Information Age. If that is shut down other technology will follow it is inevitable. People know freedom of information and they will not forget it.

On the topic of TPB they remind me of ES5 in the way that they taunt the RIAA MPAA and US government. The only difference is that the attention that they are getting seems to be positive for filesharing at this point. Although this may be the case at this time I don’t like the way the mouse is playing a little dance in front of the cat.

FYI…If you haven’t heard AbrahamBeard…the US has bought MANY laws outside of the US. And if they can’t buy their laws or persuade their “justice”…they bring out the Big Bombs and missles.

No we dont bomb you we just cut your country off like a parent does a child. If were gonna make your country tons of cash then we have a right to say what we like or dont like for better or worse. Dont wanna play by our rules Sweden? Bye bye Ikea or whatever. Its F’d up but money talks. Dont think Pirate BAy is exactly making a huge contribution to the GDP of Sweden.

Sweden doesn’t recognise US laws passed by US legislators. The US rips up international treaties on climate change. Seems like a fair swap to me.

And Sweden shouldnt Id tell us to piss off but then wouldnt expect them to let me build a 10 story Ikea in every darn state. And why would we sign a treaty that countries like CHINA and RUSSIA far worse polluters than us or anybody wont even sign? The US has cleaned itself up big time and on its own over the last 30 years when it finally started to care (Earth Day). Who would enforce it anyways? The US thats who and then would get blamed for being a big bully because some rink a dink country exceeded its CO2 emissions…..wah.

If they cant abide by US laws then they shouldnt have US media on them (CD’s DVD Software Games) American manufacturers as everyone else makes them and puts into play what laws to carry on it. Dont give sweden too much credit. Without us they be freezing their balls off watching BBC.
