Microsoft later this year plans to release Windows Vista, the long-awaited successor to Windows XP. The operating system is being designed to shut the door on spyware. It will introduce important changes at the heart of the operating system, as well as to Internet Explorer, and include Windows Defender, an anti-spyware tool.
“The spyware threat will definitely shrink or shrivel” as Vista gets adopted, said John Pescatore, an analyst with Gartner. “We got a handle on spam. It still gets through, but it is such a small percentage now, we know how to deal with what gets through. That same thing will happen to spyware. It will be under control.”

What I’m loving is their new credit card info management system where the OS stores all your credit card info and sites that have the proper security certificate can ask your permission to take that info *supposedly to prevent phishing…*. Fun fun.
It’s time for a monthly memory reminder. Remember when Microsoft told us XP was going to be the most secure thing ever? Viruses were going to be a thing of the past.
Well now we have spyware with rootkits and worms that infect us live on the internet. Thanks for your new cutting-edge super-secure technology Bill.
And you know what? Personally I’ll take spyware over this TCPA enabling infection Microsoft is going to build into it’s software.
hey i can post
test
I bet the companies that make spyware cleaning software are happy.
