File-sharing company AllPeers said Tuesday it received a first round of funding from two venture capital firms that backed last year’s huge peer-to-peer winner, the VoIP service Skype.
AllPeers co-founder and CEO Cedric Maloux declined to disclose the amount of funding from Mangrove Capital Partners and Index Ventures, but said it was less than $5 million. The two venture firms were both investors in Skype, which eBay bought for $2.6 billion.
