A French IT company named PeerFactor and based in Paris, launched 2 weeks ago a new P2P software. Usually with peer to peer software, you share your bandwidth and can get unlimited access to content available on other PCs from the network. PeerFactor works in a different way. You install the PeerFactor client and share your unused bandwidth and some CPU with them. They sell these capacities to their customers. And finally you get rewarded with an unlimited music (or game) subscription similar to "Yahoo! Music Unlimited". The soft can be download on http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/PeerFactor/1136644825/1 or directly on their website http://www.peerfactor.fr/telecharger.html The project website is currently only available in French and that participation is only open to French citizens But according to distributedcomputing.info, an English version of the program will be available in March or April 2006. The official site claims to have already several thousand members.
