SIP Thor , based on SIP and ENUM standards, is a sef-configurable network that provides the customer with scalability and survivability of its SIP communications.
Using P2P technology, it distributes a P2P Proxy/Registrar that acts a like a cluster of super-nodes in a pure P2P network.
After installation of the software and connection to the network, these new nodes become available to serve SIP requests, and if a node fails its tasked are automatically delegated to another node on the network.
The main benefits of SIP Thor lie in the fact that it is a self-configurable network that can survive normally catastrophic scenarios like loss of network connectivity or DOS(denial of service) attacks.
An added benefit is the possibility of an instant worlwide presence with no investment in expensive hardware or other stand-by equipment to ensure quality of service over numerous geographic sites.
