According to the German tech blog http://www.technology-ninja.com, someone has succeeded in getting iTunes to run on his Windows Mobile handheld.
With the touch of your finger you can scroll through songs and adjust features such as equalizer, playlists, etc..
He was not actually able to buy anything on iTunes, it apparently crashed when he tried, so it begs the question of what the benefits are over Media or Real Player. But, it defintely is cool if merely for no other reason than to stick it to the "man" (Apple).
As far as technical aspects, "It seems that it’s entirely written in some .NET language since it requires the .NET Compact Framework 2.0 to run. And that leads me to the conclusion that there will not be an iTunes for Windows Mobile for earlier Windows Mobile versions like 2003 and 2003SE."
