The CEO of Morpheus delivered a speach to the Digital Media Summit conference in Los Angeles yesterday. In it he revealed that in about 4 weeks Morpheus will release a paid for version that will cost cost 15 cents to 25 cents per download.
The free version will continue at the same time.
Morpheus already has a paid for version without adverts so their new paid for version will probably include new features to try and encourage people to switch to the paid for version. Both Morpheus and Kazaa are due to release version 2.0 soon. Read the full story here.
