Consumers Likely to See Little Fallout from Decision

While surfing the net tonight I found a good story that will help explain this weeks news, check it out…

“The Supreme Court’s decision Monday in the Grokster case might mean a lot to the movie, music and software industries, but how will it affect consumers? After all, it’s consumers who videotape their favorite shows or record them onto TiVos. They’re the ones who “rip” CDs onto their iPods, and who use peer-to-peer networks to share music and movies — legally or not. The court ruled against Grokster and StreamCast, but it didn’t say that file sharing was illegal, and it didn’t ban any of the digital recording technologies.”
