Sprint Corp. and Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. have announced a deal that will allow some Sprint customers to receive satellite radio over their cell phones, possibly sometime this summer.

The agreement, announced Tuesday, is the first between a satellite radio company and a wireless company and expands Sprint’s wireless entertainment package.

The Overland Park-based company already offers some radio channels, live TV, games and TV clips
