Best Ways to Download Music

      Share

Here at Zeropaid, we get a lot of new users to file sharing, so today while reading a dozen emails from people that can’t figure out how to log in to Zeropaid, i got this crazy idea to tell you all what my favorite p2p apps are.

I will go over my top 5 picks, most you may know about, some you might not. For some of the regular members, this might be a good time for you to and rate some of the mentioned programs in our revised program pages here at Zeropaid.com.

Shareaza

Shareaza is a MUST HAVE, even if you don’t download regularly, Shareaza is a program that should be on your computer at all times! I wouldn’t suggest running Shareaza constantly; just install Shareaza on your computer for the times when you need it. Shareaza is a great p2p tool and you will use Shareaza more then you think.

Shareaza is the perfect client for high performance downloading/sharing on gnutella or BitTorrent. Shareaza’s interface is the best among other gnutella clients; BearShare is a near second in my ranking. Both clients consume more cpu power, so keep that mind if you have an older or slow computer. If you need a fast gnutella client, try Gnoozle.

Supports the following networks: Gnutella2, eDonkey network and BitTorrent

Azureus

Azureus is an advanced multiplatform BitTorrent client written in Java that includes a BT tracker and a torrent maker, providing all the components needed to run a BitTorrent solution. Azureus is steps up from the original BitTorrent client, if you have been using the original client to download files on BT, upgrade to Azureus and experience the difference Azureus can make.

Supports the following networks: BitTorrent

Skype

Skype is not a program you can download music or movies with, Skype is a tool to place computer 2 computer phone calls for free. I personally use Skype to talk to my family who live in the Midwest, instead of using the phone to make every day calls when my family is online. Skype is a great way to save money, make conference calls and chat with friends.

Lan2p

Lan2P is an easy to configure peer-to-peer file sharing system for local area computer networks, Lan2p is completely private, Lan2p does not go beyond your local network. Lan2p is a great way to distribute files with friends on a local network. My friends use Lan2p to share files on large corporate network.

SimpleBT

SimpleBT is an easy to use BitTorrent client, easy to install and operate. SimpleBT utilizes small amounts of ram (3-5MB), also included is a detailed tray icon hint (show status of your downloads), history recording, Integration with TorrentSpy, firewall & CPU usage Setting, multi-language support, etc. SimpleBT is great BitTorrent tools to start with, once you learn SimpleBT, try upgrading to Azureus or Shareaza for maximum BT performance.

Supports the following networks: BitTorrent
