Officers of the Vienna criminal police confiscated servers that had been hosting major eDonkey portals and forums. According to Andreas Manak, general secretary of the Austrian movie industries Anti-Piracy Union (VAP), the owners will be sued for copyright infringement. They are threatened with sentences up to two years. Whether VAP will prosecute the users of the P2P networks is still open. [...] After several months of recherches by the MPAA, GVU and VAP the police confiscated ten servers. They had been hosting ten different eDonkey portals, among them “p2pworld.to” and “eselpsychos.to”
