With the take down of Loki Torrents recently, and all the various articles spawned from it, one might forget that P2P exists beyond Bit Torrent. Before Bit Torrent made swarming downloads all the rage, there was another file sharing application that had already been doing this for some time. The ED2K network accessible threw the offical client, or the preferred open source, emule client, has used swarming download technology since before Bit Torrent was a twinkle in Brams eye.
Once mighty sites like ShareReactor, and ShareConnector have come and gone offering downloaders verified hash links to every kind of file imaginable. In the closed community of TV Episode sharing on ED2K ShareTV was once top dog. However some time ago it was also forced to close its doors. However one webpage has stepped up to at least fill the hole that ShareTV left. The Realworld.de has just about anything a tv fan could be looking for. While Bit Torrent TV sites like TV Torrents and #BT maybe better sources for newer, recently aired episodes, they don’t even begin to touch the depth of what avalible at TRW.
