Sharelive is one of many sites that provide users with the hash of file avalible of file sharing networks. User’s file sharing clients then search for a file with the matching hash and download it via their preferred network. While anyone who understands technology can understand that this practice, while perhaps not Kosher, does not violate anyones copyrights. Sharelive doesn’t offer any copyrighted software, films, or music for download. If the copyright mafia was to raid the Sharelive server not a one Britney Spears MP3, or single episode of Friends would be found.

Well as we said anyone who understands technology would clearly understand this. So naturally who has been hounding Sharelive claiming their copyrights are being violated? None other then the worlds biggest technology monopoly Micro$oft. The company that hosts Sharelive has recently received emails in regard to this matter.
