The BitTorrent community has taken yet another hit today with the closure of well-respected site “Tv-Swarm”, a torrent site and tracker providing high quality TV captures, going offline due to recent legal events with other sites.
Tv-Swarm formed after a split at another popular torrent site and instantly gained a steady following of TV lovers.
After being offline since yesterday evening, an announcement in #Tv-Swarm (EFNet) now states: “With Lokitorrent going down and a general feeling of unease, we are taking a break. We do not know for how long, but we will let you know when we do. Please stay tuned.”
An aspect which made Tv-Swarm stand out from the crowd was its reliability at seeding HRHDTV (also referred to as HRHD) TV caps, which are superior in visual and audio quality compared to regular H/PDTV caps with 2 channel MP3 sound. Tv-Swarm was updated several times each day as shows had been aired and became available from the TVRip groups.
It’s not yet known when (or even if) Tv-Swarm will be returning to their regular torrent schedule.
