Musiccity appeared in Court yesterday for the first appearance in what no doubt will be a long court battle. The company has been sued for copyright infringement by the RIAA and the MPAA. Yesterday they asked a federal judge to rule that legal uses for peer-to-peer file-sharing software Morpheus mean that it cannot be banned. The next hearing is likely to be on Feb.25.
