In a Reuters article hosted on Yahoo they talked about what is supposedly going to be the next craze in the British world of the Internet. If you have ever been confused by the way English webmasters list their pages on odd directories like .co.uk, prepare to become even more confused. In the ever so popular English tradition of elegance comes a new domain name registry: (www.whatever).me.uk. The .me.uk domain entry is billed as Great Britain’s best way to create a personal website with just that yummy little hint of English culture. Complete with the accents, the delicious food, the lovely weather, it’s all there. After all, domain names with only one dot at the end are much too simple to remember. Only a country that color codes its money could think of an idea this great, confusing url’s are hella-tight! It’s no wonder we Americans are all strongly jealous of England.
