Morpheus and Rebol

I first heard of this of couple of months ago (~November 2001). Morpheus 2.0 will include REBOL’s “X Internet” OS – so its basically joining a peer-to-peer distribution system with REBOL’s application platform. The aim is to make Morpheus and its content network accessible across all devices and also provide shared Internet applications.

X Internet allows applications, called “reblets”, to run across dozens of operating systems with the added security of Advanced Encryption Standard (AES).

So basically, distributed network applications to compete with Microsoft’s .Net…
