This is major release over prior versions. This version is not a patch file like the prior MFC versions. This is the entire program delivered within an installer. The best feature is that it comes with a SeedNode Updater and a Webhost Cache Updater. Three icons will be placed automatically on your desktop, the two updaters I mentioned plus the executable to start the program. If you had problems connecting in the past, you will not with this version. First update the nodes and webcache first, then run the program.
In addition, this release also made a change to the way files are hashed for efficiency sake. Rather then being hashed “on demand” they will begin to hash slowly when you start the program. This new method will take up fewer resources.
This release is in English, German and Italian.
It is strongly advised that you be careful not to include your hash directory within your shared directories. This will create loops and force mute to try to hash the hash files. Your CPU will go in endless circles.
