An article from wireless.newsfactor.com hosted on Yahoo had an article involving satellite radio. Satellite radio is a technologically improved version of the traditional AM and FM bands of radio broadcasting. The services that offer it claim it has better sound quality, nationwide reception capability, and over 60 commercial-free radio stations. The only catch is that it comes with a price tag. In order to be able to receive satellite radio stations you would have to purchase a special radio receiver and pay a monthly fee. The satellite radio receivers cost anywhere from 200 to 1,000 dollars, the radio service fee costs 10 to 12 dollars per month. These figures do not include installation fees. The only Question is will people be willing to pay for what they already get for free.
