WASTE v1.5 beta 2

After lying fairly dormant for a few months, the devlopers over at the WASTE SourceForge Project have created a new version of WASTE which fixes many bugs and adds many features, including a Windows server, and update to the Linux server, and security patches to make WASTE more secure. For a full beta 1 changelog please see: http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?release_id=246146, and for a changelog of things fixed in beta 2, please see: http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?group_id=82356&release_id=246377.

News from the SourceForge project:

“WASTE reaches a new milestone with the new v1.5 beta 1 released today. It both marks WASTE’s re-entry into beta, as well as starts the new line of v1.5. After v1.4 lackluster start, this new version adds many features, gaining it a new program number. WASTE is a mesh-based workgroup tool that allows for encrypted, private communication between distant parties on the internet, independant of local network organization.

To view the changelog, which includes note of all the bugs fixed, please go here: https://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?group_id=82356&release_id=246146 This version also marks the first update of Linux Server in ahwile, as well as the addition of Windows Server (no binary avalible yet). It is HIGHLY recommended to upgrade as this version also fixes a dangerious undocumented bug which would allow users to crash WASTE anonymously. Also in this version now requires Visual C++ 7 (.NET) to compile, however you can use Microsoft’s freeware version now avalible on their website. Enjoy!”
