Well as the saying goes, Napster is Dead blah blah blah. Well SOME of us still like using it in conjunction with napigator to connect to private networks to chat with our buddies and,as irrational as this sounds to alot of some people, some of us still like to use it to download music with it. As many of you know napsters servers are not alowing any connections to them, not even to chat or register a screen name.Well NappyReg will “fake” registering a new screen name by entering in the proper information into a registry file that you can either Save, or merge into your current registry. If you don’t like napster, or just want to forget it, then this isn’t for you. But for those of us who still like to do it old school style..then this is great. Here is this site
Some notes:
I am the developer of this program, it will not rape your computer,give your dog herpes, or make the economy worse. I’ve done ALOT of testing on it to make sure i weeded out as many bugs as i could because i HATE it when a usefull app crashes all the time. The Next version will include the following:
-Writing the settings directly to the registry AND making a backup for you. -Automatic password encryption (should be done with this in a few days actualy)
-a l337 icon
Stuff to come later:
-a Napster Profile Manager type thing
-ability to convert registry files from one version of napster to another.
