giFTwin32 – 0.6.1 released

giFTwin32 is a Windows client for the filesharing (peer-to-peer or otherwise) server/daemon giFT. It is written in C, using Visual C++ 6.0. As anyone can see, it looks pretty much like Markus Kern’s KCeasy (without the Internet Explorer and Media Player integration, and the shared files manager), but I needed some inspiration on the GUI :-)

Changelog:

* Released version 0.6.1.

* gift_receive(): Fixed a bug, that returned error “disconnected by
remote host”, when in fact the receive buffer was full.

* Fixed a couple of stupid memory leaks.

* Added a VC++ project configuration for building with the “mpatrol”,
, memory debugging library.

* Reworked the way the transfer progress bar works, so it also follows
with horizontal scroll.

* Changed the way search strings are added to the search drop-down
list, to avoid duplicates.
