Hackers Keep Xolox Up and Running

Despite the decision for Xolox (www.xolox.nl) to discontinue their file sharing utility, because of legal action against Fasttrack, hackers have released a crack that brings xolox back to life. The developers of Xolox had essentially stopped people from using their software by disabling the ‘download’ function whilst connected to the Gnutella network. The ‘new’ version dubbed 1.13 (xolox’s final version had been 1.12) works beautifully and truely shows the resiliance of P2P to beat the courts.
