Limewire LLC has recently released Limewire Version 2.0 Beta. Along with a few bug fixes, this version also includes a fix for those who use Ad-Aware to remove any ad/spyware from their windows system. Actually, 2.0 Beta just renames the cydoor DLL which is now called CBanner2.dll and will replace it each time Limewire is loaded (if it gets deleted). Unlike previous versions of Limewire (1.8c Beta), there is no option (as of yet) to download Version 2.0 Beta without the included ad/spyware or banner ads. Another interesting fact is that Limewire 2.0 beta will occasionally show a banner ad featuring Limewire 2.0 Pro which does not include any banner ads or ad/spyware. Limewire 2.0 Pro costs $6.00 and includes 6 months worth of updates. Since Limewire was released under the GPL, one has to wonder whether Limewire LLC will be forced to make the source code for Limewire 2.0 Pro available for download. Thoughts?

Yeah this is stupid! all i want to do is download some fucking (pardon my french) music! an limewire gets this stupid court order…an i cant do anything with it. cant update it nothing. however you can still purchase their Limewire Pro but who the hell wants to do that for $20 a month. WHO CAN AFFORD IT! does anyone know of another free music download? ive looked around an have tried a couple but no such luck so far?….there is always a loop hole.. an im bound to find it *evil laugh*
No need of trying to update anything cause Lime Wire has been shut down due to a court order so you cant even use it anymore. sorry

you just go on limewire update on google and get the new limewire to get thousands of songs
