When I originally posted my thoughts on “Napsters Hopeless Survival Efforts” a couple days ago, I had no intention of trying to persuade anyone to join. There is no doubt in my mind that Napster will not succeed in breaking anywhere close to even and probably shut down in less than one year. I simply wanted to know who was gonna try it out. Also, you may think that Napster is just looking to make money, but you need to pull your heads out. Do you have any idea what the highest paying job at their headquarters is? Less than 60K. So don’t tell me they’re trying to turn a profit, Napster wants to extend their legacy and bring you music at low prices. If you want to blame any supposed money whores, pick the RIAA, MusicNet or PressPlay. Did you know that through all of the lawsuits brought up by these companies against file sharing powerhouses, that not one cent of the profits from winnings ever goes to the artists. In conclusion, I would ask that all of you think hard about what you say in the future before you say it.
