Simple, Anonymous File Sharing
MUTE File Sharing is a new
peer-to-peer network that provides easy search-and-download functionality while
also protecting your privacy.

–Fixed crash on download when sharing path does not exist.

–Removed redundant quit menu item on Mac OS X.

hash-only searches.
–Added support for majority-based routing setting to
avoid route loops.
–Fixed a freeze that showed up occasionally when
canceling a search.
–Fixed rare infinite loop (cause of a freeze) in routing
choice algorithm.
–Fixed so that a saved random seed is used at most once,
even in the case of node being killed or crashing.
–Added support for
web-cache-based bootstrapping (finding seed nodes).
–Fixed a stall
(temporary freeze) that occurred when updating settings while message-per-second
limit was set very low.
–Changed hash-file names in the MUTE_hashes
directory to the SHA1 hash of the corresponding file name. This fix prevents
these hash files from confusing other file sharing apps that use the same shared
folder.
–Fixed thread safety issues in platform-dependent networking
layers.
–Added support for sharing sub-folders.
