From the rise of Napster and the hottest P2P apps to the Recording Industry Association of America’s subpoenas, TechTV brings you the latest from the front lines of the file-sharing Music Wars.

On Friday, Sept. 12, musicians, lawyers, industry leaders, record executives, and representatives from groups including the RIAA and the Electronic Frontier Foundation will gather to battle it out at TechTV’s studios in San Francisco. There’s only one person missing: you.

We’re looking for people of various opinions and from various demographics to join the “Open Mike” portion of our “Music Wars” special. If you’re going to be in the San Francisco Bay area on Sept. 12, and you want to join our audience to share your opinions with our panel of experts, fill out the email form below.

Unfortunately, we can’t respond to every request. If you’re selected to attend, a guest coordinator will contact you with additional information.

Please note

Selected guests must arrive at our studio no later than 5 p.m. Pacific.
The “Open Mike” portion of the “Music Wars” special will begin at 6 p.m. and wrap at 8 p.m.
All minors must attend in the company of an adult.
