Author: kRYPT

Program Type: Freeware

File Description:

burst! is a new client for the BitTorrent network. It uses a modified version of the original python client as the back-end, and replaces the front-end with a native Win32 application. It uses less system resources (with multiple transfers), and has more features then the other clients.

Changes in Current Version:

- Fixed spelling errors (thanks Phil_123)

- Auto-corrects extra .torrent on output filename

- Advanced options are now saved between runs

- Removed all upload limits when seeding

- Added min uploads setting..

***If the client can’t find this many people to upload
to, it will fill it with optimistic unchokes.

***Adjust on-the-fly with ‘a’ and ’s’.

- Re-wrote the way Browser Integration works, hopefully fixed the startup access violations

- Torrent File and Save to fields can now be typed into directly

- Minport and Maxport added to settings

- Removed deleting downloaded files, never worked right anyway

- New feature: Auto-save torrents

- Downloader now based upon TheSHAD0W’s Experimental S5.5

- Added ‘Super Seeder’ Mode

- Advanced options now properly activate/deactivate

- Fixed another typo (thanks Bill Smith)

- Misc. small bug fixes
