Also, automatic sources dropping is fully operational now, turn it on in Preferences->Sources Dropping tab.
Special guest star for this release is plobb, who provided us with hotranking patch. From now on, sources with QR: smaller than 5 ignore MaxNewConPer5Seconds value, which should increase download speed during new sources handling.
We also did large amount of code cleanup, removed over 50 unused variables, resulting in about 1MB memory usage drop.
There seems to be some issue regarding download speeds which we haven’t been able to track down so far. It seems to be originated from 1.5.3 version, and causes abnormally slow download speeds. Apparently, only one source per file downloads at full speed, others either fail to connect or are disconnected after few hundred kb’s of data. Any ideas/help in this matter would be greatly appreciated, because 1.6.0 will not be released until this issue has been resolved.
