Limewire 3.1.0 Beta Released

LimeWire enables individuals to search for and share computer files with anyone on the Internet. LimeWire is compatible with the Gnutella file-sharing protocol and can connect with anyone else running Gnutella-compatible software.

This version includes better success rates for search results from firewalled machines on the network.

**Users who download this version must already have the Java2TM Runtime Environment, v. 1.3.1 (JRE) installed. You can get the JRE from the Sun web site at: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/jre/
