Ares is a peer to peer application that lets you download any file type. You also have a web browser, media player, and a virtual library at your disposal. Searches are fast, downloads are fast, and a slick GUI. What more can a person want? Well, find out by getting this new build.
Changelog
1. Few fixes in downloads (sometime when a partial source was available socket connection was blocking and this made downloads look like they were freezed for some seconds)
2. Partial sources in download have a darker ‘connected’ icon
3. Push routes have been fixed(caused many failed downloads)
4. Old queueing system (first come, first get the file) has been restored (mostly because there were too many old versions around)
5. “New” supernode and decentralized cache.
I would also like to point out that the search restrictions have been raised. Instead of only being a 100 limit search, (I don’t know exactly the cap but ~200) it has been raised higher. I have seen it as high as 350 in a single search.
