“Operation Mouse”, an Italian anti-piracy sting, has arrested 181 people in what they are calling one of the largest piracy operations in Europe. The task force found copied software, music and movies.
The arrests were made after months of surveillance regarding 12 website that the pirates were selling the goods through. The Business Software Alliance(BSA) is claiming that an adiitional 10000+ customers were still under investigation. The Italian authorities speculate that the pirated goods had a street value of over 100 million dollars.
