BetaNews:
iMesh is used to search and download Audio, Video and Image files. It uses patent-pending FireLoad technology to assure that files are downloaded fast and reliably. The files you are searching for are located on the computers of other users like yourself that have agreed to share their files with other people in the community.

Searches can be conducted either from within the application or through the Web site. It does not search other Web sites or FTP servers, but only files located on the computers of other members of the community. It offers advanced features such as Simultaneous Download – if the same file is found on two different locations, download will be performed from both locations in the same time, making sure you get the file faster. It also offers “skins” (similar to WinAmp) so you can modify the appearances of the iMesh application.

It contains adware.
