Operation Buccaneer Bites Release Scene Again

Well Operation Buccaneer has struck again taking out two major groups by arresting one. The group that was busted this time was Razor911. Friday June 15th, Shane Pitman a 31 year old man from N.C. was sentenced to 18 months in prison. Pitman, know as “Pitbull” to the rest of his group, was convicted of “conspiracy to violate copyright laws“. U.S. Attorney Paul McNulty said, “Pitman’s conviction and sentence should send a strong message to organized Internet gangs like Razor1911 that stealing and illegally distributing game software online is not a game.” “Pitbull” is the 22nd person convicted as a result of Operation Buccaneer.

People who follow the “Video Game” arena of the release groups are very familiar with a group that goes by “Fairlight”. They constantly supplied quality releases of the hottest titles.
