FEATURES is not the most important factor when deciding which client to chose. The most important feature is STABILITY. The quality of the Gnutella clients is very variable. I’ve been trying some of them but not all.
Here’s my list:
1. Gnotella. Got a tendency to freeze, but I’ve never experienced any crashes. Can run for weeks.
2. Bearshare. Crashes once in a while, but can run for few days.
3. Xolox. OK, allmost stable.
4. Oasis. More stable than Gnucleus but do also encounter mfc42.dll errors like Gnucleus once in a while.
5. Gnucleus. The mfc42.dll error which crashes this program once or twice every day makes it unusable. Perhaps the team behind it should DUMP the project and start all over again? Really like the features, BUT…
6. Limewire. Not Solid State to say the least. Some freezing and does often not react to button clicking.
