- It is a multi p2p network client, currently supports following networks:
- eDonkey (uses eMule extensions, recognizes MLdonkey, eDonkey, eMule, lMule and Shareaza)
- Overnet
- BitTorrent
- Gnutella/Gnutella2
- FastTrack (Kazaa)
- Soulseek (in development)
- DirectConnect (in development)
- Full control through web interface (see screenshots)
- Multi-user p2p!. You can submit p2p links and control it from anywhere!
(You can setup MLdonkey on your router and add downloads from other computers by clicking on p2p links (ed2k://, magnet:, .torrent) )
mldonkey-ease (0.4f (based on CVS 2.5)) add-ons:
- (win32) wrapped nicely into Nullsoft Installer
- (win32) you can hide mldonkey window by clicking on system tray icon :
- changed style of web interface to ’1′ (grouped buttons)
- eDonkey, Overnet, BitTorrent, FastTrack and Gnuttella/Gnuttella2 networks enabled by default
- uses ocbMaurice servers-best.met (50 best eDonkey servers, timeouts equal 0 and users > 500)
- (win32) changed “mldonkey_messages.ini” location (and other such files) to directory with MLdonkey binary
- (win32) reduced size of ‘mlnet.exe’ – strip & upx -> 704 KB
- altered settings:
- vd_reload_delay = 40, max_opened_connections = 300, servers_walking_period = 0 (disabled)
- html_mods_vd_age, html_mods_vd_queues, html_mods_show_pending, use_file_history, save_file_history, ask_for_gui -> false
- random_order_download, reliable_sources , html_mods_prio-> true
