Apparently Apple Computers’ well intentioned effort to provide the consumer with an ethical source of music may just be a cheaper version of what we’ve been getting from the record companies for the past years.
Apparently Apple has yet to do anything remedying the business practices typical of the big 5, which seem to be patterned after that of the Gestapo and English royal families.
In Mark Morford’s article at SFGate.com he shows how the Apple iTunes store may just be a continuation of the state that music has been in for years. Currently there are little if no Independent artists featured at the website and that revenues collected from songs sold may not be reaching the Artists that created them.
