Lyric Sites to be Next Casualty in Copyright Cyber War

It looks like the R.I.A.A. has found a target that is easier to hit then the powerful P2P programs. It looks like sites that provide Lyrics, will be feeling the heat in upcoming months. According to B.B.C. News the popular lyric site Lyricfind.com has been forced to remove all of the lyrics from there site.

Lyrics are covered by copyright, just like the songs the P2P masses swap daily on file swapping services like Kazaa, Piolet, and Shareaza. Sarah Faulder, chief executive of the Music Publishers Association, say that unless sites have obtained proper permission to publish these lyrics they are in violation of the law. Very few of the many popular lyric sites have.
