BUGFIXES
* Transfers with “Waiting for Network…” as status couldn’t be canceled
* Nicknames that were longer than the NICKLEN parameter of a network weren’t trimmed and thus caused troubles in the negotiation of a transfer. Transfer status would be stuck on “Trying to join channel”
* Exceptions that happen because of connection failures to the webservices are handled and close the program safely.
* Glitch in the traffic view that caused the progress to stay on 99% while transfer was completed should be fixed.
NEW FEATURES/CHANGES
* Round robin DNS resolving implemented. Allows for faster and more efficient network connections. MANY THANKS TO LOKI-XP for his algorithm.
* Contextmenu in the networkview which allows to Clean Up the networks. This will disconnect networks that aren’t used in the trafficview
* Removed empty spaces above trafficview. They were intended for advertisement , but have been removed. There is plenty of space below the traffic view.
* Cleared sorting when initiating new search for performance while listing
* Abort search button added
* About dialog in Help menu
* On popular demand “Connect with Mirc” through a context menu on the search view.
* Msgbox alert when new version is out. Mandatory updates close the app.
Next plans:
* Saved transfer objects that can be resumed next time app is started
* Chat panel
* I will try to reproduce the timeouts people have been having at 99% when downloading files larger than 1 gig.
