DietK mostly likely discontinued

DietK once used to be the only, and the best Kazaa add-on that there was. Dietk even had its own upgrade to DietK with Lemon which allowed its donators to experience even more features like unlimited search and ability to set Kazaa to your own homepage.

What happened all of a sudden? Well, as soon as Kazaa brought in their new release, 2.0 if I’m not mistaken, it disabled Dietk’s most liked feature: unlimited searches. Chip, when asked, couldn’t surpass this new restraint and said that the new Kazaa had hard coded itself to disable dietk’s features. Since then, there was only 1 version of DietK that was released. Its new features weren’t all that great, nothing compared to the time that DietK came out. But still, DietK insisted that it would have new releases.

Suddenly, out of no where and which surprised us all, came Randum Nut with his K++. K++ did everything that Dietk once did. After K++ came out, a whole new line of Kazaa add-ons appeared, one after the other. So what happened to DietK? Well, once with no competitor at all, it ruled the Kazaa add-on market like a monopoly. But suddenly K++ enabled others to see K++’s source code which allowed knowledgeful programmers to create new add-ons. DietK suddenly was filled with too many competitors with too many good features. Nothing was left for them.

The last release of DietK was Diet K v2 RC1. That version was released in December the 17th, and since then no no releases have appeared. Its been almost half a year now with no releases. Is it safe to say DietK has discontinued?
